Swimsuit Season, Sunscreen, & Skincare
At the beach, lying in a lounge chair on the sand in our swimsuits, we often do well to remember our sunscreen, let alone a skincare regimen! You know it’s true. . . .
However, even though the sun’s rays are deadly in all seasons and weathers, we think about it more in the summer, when we’re outdoors and often inactive and resting in the sun.
Oh, sure, we get vitamin D from the sun, but we can also get dangerous UV rays, and those are nothing to fool with.
Swimsuits expose a lot more of our bodies than any other garments – at least, the ones we wear in public – and those usually unexposed areas of skin are much more sensitive to those UV rays than many people realize. NEVER go outdoors, whether it’s sunny or overcast, without sunscreen on all exposed skin.
As for your face and neck, your usual application of Nuglow Daytime Therapy contains an SPF of 15 and, with a hat and sunglasses to protect your eyes, should be sufficient to keep your face and neck safe. However, BE SURE TO REAPPLY OFTEN, as even if you don’t go near the water, you’ll sweat the protection off.
The beads are cute with your new summer swimsuit, too.
Those, and sunscreen for all your exposed bare skin, and NuGlow DayTime Therapy for your face and neck, should keep you safe on the beach!
